Our Philosophy

Since an early beginning, our approach to design have been dual, in one hand we believe that is necessary to research people's experiences, styles and contexts to creates a new "product universe" that reflects people's desires and trends.
On the other hand, to be able to deliver a product according to this research, it's necessary to have and use emotional but also technical skills to translate the idea into a manufacturable product.
Developing together ideas and manufacturing means less cost, less development time and ensure us to achieve company's semantic values but also full fill their commercial needs.

A bit of History

Ortizferrer Design is in the design field since 1996. First based in Argentina where Tomás Ortiz Ferrer starts working in product and exhibition design with different Argentinian companies.
In 2001 he moves to Italy and starts working with Maria Elena Martinez.
In this stimulating environment they collaborated with important designers such as George Sowden, Marc Sadler, Makio Hasuike.
In 2004 the art direction for the exhibition In Dust We Trust with Christopher Coombes and Guillaume Delvigne led to the formation of Industreal.
During this 6 years phase, while working for many Italian companies, we had the opportunity to understand and experience the “Design System”.
